Developing sectors along the 165km-long Yamuna Expressway are being considered as some of the best locations for real estate development.
With improved connectivity and fast pace of infrastructural development, builders are constructing a slew of affordable housing projects here, which promise long-term assured returns.
Why Yamuna Expressway
The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEA), which has plans for developing five townships along the expressway, has undertaken a lot of urban development work in the whole area. A gas-based power plant is in the works, which would greatly improve the availability of electricity to the residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, and entertainment zones coming up in the area. IKEA-Swedish furniture major-is eager to set up its first integrated unit for manufacturing furniture along the Yamuna Expressway. According to sources, IKEA has plans to invest around Rs 10,500 crore.
