Project undertaken to test diverse usage of waste water

 Noida Authority will undertake a project in the first week of February to maximize the use of treated water generated from the city's sewage treatment plants (STPs). The Authority will begin trial operations of an ultra-filtration plant at the Sector 54 STP.

Authority officials stated that treated water generated from the STP will be further refined by passing it through a tertiary treatment process at the new plant. The quality of water generated from this plant will be analyzed for the presence of organic matter and other pollutants.
