NOIDA: The last date for receiving technical bids for the proposed six-lane bridge across the Yamuna River, parallel to the existing Okhla Barrage, has been further extended by the Noida Authority beyond its closing date, initially set for Monday. The technical bids will now be finalized on February 10, 2014. The decision of the Authority follows receipt of only two bids for the proposed project, which is budgeted to cost Rs 150 crore. Once in place, the new bridge is expected to spell a major relief to thousands who take the present narrow Kalindi Kunj Bridge to commute between Delhi, Noida and Faridabad. Read More>>>>>
