Greater Noida West, mostly identified as Noida Extension, is developing at a fast pace. With almost 2500 hectares of land under development and more than 70 housing projects being constructed, the area is attracting several investors.
As the construction activity is proceeding swiftly, there are thousands of housing units which are expected to be ready in Greater Noida West. Few of the developers presently active in the area are Amrapali Group, Gaursons India, Ajnara Group, KV Developers, Mahagun Developers, Panchsheel Buildtech Pvt Ltd and Earthcon Construction Pvt Ltd, among others.
The projects which were launched earlier are expected to give away possession of flats by the end of 2015. “Though the builders had earlier promised to hand over possession by 2014, the projects have got delayed by over one year due to the issues over land acquisition. After the issue was taken up to the high courts, the construction activity was hampered for almost 1.5 years. After the authority reached an agreement with the farmers, the issue was solved and the construction activities have now picked up pace,” says Deepak Batra of PropWorld Realty, a city based realtor.
