Vote on account 2014: Reforms, finance may boost realty sector

The country's real estate industry contributes a little less than 5 per cent to the country's GDP. After seeing significant growth till 2007, the environment in the sector has been marked by chaos and lost opportunities. 

Due to lack of governance, frequent changes in regulations and ineffective policies, the sector has been experiencing challenges since the past few years.
