NOIDA: While there was no official word from the Noida Authority on the progress of the erstwhile FNG expressway or Ghaziabad-Noida link road as per the current name, despite repeated calls, people in the know, suggested that the work would be completed within eight-nine months. Real estate observers are expecting a turnaround along the expressway, which has otherwise seen a lukewarm response from the buyers.
E Jayashree Kurup, Head Content and Research, Magicbricks.com says, "As far as the Noida stretch is concerned (which covers almost 90 percent of the entire e-way) almost 60-70 per cent of the work is completed. Once the work is completed, prices are expected to rise up in the sectors that are about the expressway. I am very much hopeful that sectors such as 142, 143B, 146, 167 and 168 will see good traction."
