According to officials, the expansion under Phase II has been planned in such a way that large residential as well as commercial areas will have more than one metro station as well as a metro corridor for better connectivity.
Among these localities is the busy educational and transport hub of Dhaula Kuan, which already has a Metro station on the Airport Express Link.
Another station, 'South Campus', will come up on the Mukundpur-Shiv Vihar corridor in the same locality, which will be useful for Delhi University students travelling to colleges in Dhaula Kuan.
