Noida failed to adopt state law to protect home-buyers’ interests

The Noida authority has failed to adopt Uttar Pradesh (UP) apartment act-2010 that aims to safeguard interests of home buyers.
 
The authority on November 29, 2013 in its board meeting had approved a proposal that seeks to make certain guidelines that will pave the way for implementation of this act, which will benefit about 5 lakh home-buyers in Noida, 3 lakh investors in Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway areas. Chairman and chief executive officer (CEO) of the Noida authority- Rama Raman on November 29, 2013 had said that this act will be implemented in 3 months of time.
